ACCUWEIGH’S KEG SCALES FOR GEELONG FOOTBALL CLUB

Keg Scales

Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch recently supplied keg scales to Geelong’s Football Social Club for use at their Point Cook entertainment facility. The keg scales are used to weigh the volume of beer in the connected kegs to ensure there is sufficient beer remaining for the next bar session.

Accuweigh’s keg scales addresses the OH&S issues associated with the traditional methods of weighing beer kegs by manually lifting the kegs onto hanging scales.  Accuweigh’s keg scales remove all the strain and effort with weighing kegs which can weigh up to 60kg when full.

The keg scales are wheeled over to the keg and then slid underneath it; the trolley is then tilted back with minimal effort. The digital weight indicator will then display the keg’s weight.

A tare weigh can be entered into the key scales to display only the weight of the keg’s contents which can also be totalised automatically to eliminate human error with calculating total weights.

Accuweigh is Australia’s largest industrial weighing company and has branches across Australia providing local state based after sales support on keg scales and all industrial weighing equipment.
