Accuweigh Metal Detector Scanning Fruits & Nuts.

Metal Detector

An Accuweigh variable frequency metal detector has been sold to a Melbourne snack foods manufacturer for scanning both cartons and bags of snack food products.

This speciality snack food maker produces fruit and nuts coated in chocolate or yoghurt which are then packed into 10kg cartons and 20kg bags for selling nationally through supermarkets.

This latest generation metal detector has multi-frequency scanning ability which allows for much higher sensitivity levels over a multitude of products in various pack sizes and configurations.

The metal detector is manufactured in full stainless steel with both audible audible alarm and conveyor stop on detection of contaminates. A custom engineered two metre long conveyor with a 400mm wide modular belt will be used to deliver product to the metal detector's scanning head.

To assist with the current production runs, Accuweigh's Roger Lynch allowed his much valued client the full use of a loan metal detector until the new multi-frequency metal detector has been fully commissioned.
