The Rinstrum XS-A Series of IP-67 wet area platform scales are ideal as a general purpose or check weighing scale for marine and food processing applications.
The XS-A Series is available with either an X320 indicator or an R420 indicator, depending on the features required. The X320 indicator has an IP-69K rating so it can't be damaged if accidentally subjected to excess water - even at high pressure and/or high temperatures up to 80°C. The impact resistant composite plastic housing uses a capacitance keyboard that can't be damaged externally and doesn't even require any actual contact by the finger to operate the key presses.
The load cell used in the XS-A Series wet area scale has an IP-67 rating to use in wet areas but the undersides of the scale base shouldn't be hosed with direct water streams.
The scale base is manufactured in 304 stainless steel for the high resistance to rusting, corrosion and damage by salt water and aggressive cleaning chemicals.
Note: The X320 digital indicator is IP-69K rated for use in wash down areas but the load cell used in the XS-A Series is only rated to IP-67 - this scale base should not be subject to direct hosing at high pressures or high temperatures.
