MT/L Weighing-Bagging Machine

Model MT/L and MT/EL valve bag filling machines are equipped with an auger bag filling system. This versatile system is ideal for products with dusty or floury characteristics, yet is also well suited to granular or pelletized products.
All MT series machines feature an integrated product dosing system, which feeds product to the auger bag filling system. One of six types of product dosing systems (gravity, impeller, belt, screw, dual screw, or vibratory channel) is selected based on the characteristics of the products to be bagged. All product feed systems are equipped with dual phase filling modes (COURSE feed and FINE feed) to ensure precise dosing of the product.

The filling assembly of the machine including the product feeding system receiving head, the auger bag filling system and the bag support, are all connected and “float” from the main structure of the machine. This entire system is connected either by scale beam (MT/L) or load cell (MT/EL) to the weighing system of the machine. Production speed for MT series valve bag fillers varies from 150 – 200 bags/hour depending upon product characteristics and machine configuration.
MT/L valve bag fillers are equipped with an electropneumatic weighing system, where as MT/EL models are optioned with an electronic weighing system.

Electropnumatic weighing systems ( mod. MT/L ), also known as scale beam weigh systems, are comprised of a lever, fulcrumed at the center, with one end connected to the filling assembly. The other end of the lever is connected to removable weights amounting to the target bag weight. The lever is also equipped with a readily accessible, easily adjustable counterweight system. The counterweight is used to fine-tune the target weight in 10gram increments.

Electronic weighing systems ( mod. MT/EL ) feature a filling assembly that is supported by load cell sensors connected to sophisticated electronics, which in turn translate load signals into relative, accurate data. A weigh system interface with membrane keyboard and digital display, allows for visualization of bag weights and all parameters that may be input into the weigh control system. The primary advantage of electronic systems lies in their ability to constantly self monitor and automatically correct for any changes product properties.
