GRS SERIES:

The GRS series has a stepping motor system to control door openings, which can be custom set for the desired speed and batch volume. Products are fed by a central vibrator though linear vibrating feeders into intermediate pans and then discharged on demand into weighing pans.

Each pan contains a certain percentage of the total target weight. The machine setting can be simply programmed and memorised to adjust for products of varying consistencies such as free-flowing and sticky products or frozen foods.

Additional automation will allow the filling of clamshell containers, trays and tubs with a variety of products. It will fill, automatically close the lid and apply a label (optional). The heart of the system is ELPACK'S STATE OF THE ART COMBINATIONAL WEIGHER, featuring high speed and accuracy, or instead, a more economical LINEAR weigher.

A 'smart' indexing conveyor presents empty containers to the filling spout. After being precisely filled, the container moves through the lid closing station, labeling and out to the box!

The yield depends on the product and its weight, typically, the speed is 50 containers per minute. The system is extremely simple and easy to use by personnel of any level.
