Electronic Weight Grading Scales
A checkweigher was recently sold by Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch to a Melbourne organic recycling company, Baiada Proteins.
The checkweigher is being used for checking the weight of a range of blood and meat meal products the company produces.
The Accu-Check inline checkweighers are manufactured in Australia using a variable frequency drive to synchronise the checkweighers belt speed with the existing conveyor line for optimum checkweighing performance. This checkweigher is used on a variety of products packed in 25kg to 35kg capacity filled bags and conveyed from an existing bag filling process at a rate of up to ten (10) bags per minute.
Weighing functions are performed by an AND Mercury 4404 high speed Check-Weighing Indicator that has a multi function operator display showing all relevant information including number of under, over and correct weight bags processed. A comparator light tower using red (under weight) green (in-tolerance) and amber (over weight) lights with a reject relay function is also fitted to the checkweigher.
