The weighbridge is 40 metres long by 3.5 metres wide using two 20 metre weighbridge decks fitted back to back to cater for the now common B Double trucks that will be delivering grain to the site. The fully hot-dip galvanised weighbridges were manufactured at Accuweigh’s QWM weighbridge manufacturing facility located in Brisbane's northern suburbs.
Accuweigh's in-house software company, AASoftware, is providing dedicated PC based weighbridge software to control and report on all vehicle movements in and out of the facility as well as providing full statistical data for management reports.
The weighing electronics are taken care of by Rinstrum’s R420 weight indicators fitted into a custom control panel and mounted inside the weighbridge office. A R420 summing indicator sums the weight readings from both weighbridge decks and transmits the weight readings via RS-232 serial output to a PC running the latest Ticket Aid Pro + Weighbridge Software.
Accuweigh is Australia’s largest industrial weighing company and has branches in all mainland states.
