Automated_Weighbridge_System
An Automated Weighbridge System was recently installed for weighing trucks at the JJ Richard’s plant in Stapylton, Queensland.
Accuweigh’s Brisbane North branch installed and commissioned the Automated Weighbridge System for weighing refuse trucks both day and night without requiring the presence of a weighbridge operator.
Accuweigh’s Automated Weighbridge System was mated to a new 28 metre long weighbridge and includes two Driver Control Stations (DCS) fitted into vandal proof metal enclosures. One DCS is fitted at each end of the Automated Weighbridge System to allow for both incoming and outgoing traffic to pass over the weighbridge.
The Automated Weighbridge System is fitted with external control systems to monitor the weighbridge operations to ensure the weighting process is not able to be falsified in any way:
• Traffic lights control truck movements over the weighbridge.
• Dallas Tag Readers automatically capture all truck details
• Photo Electric Switches are fitted at both ends of the weighbridge to ensure trucks are correctly positioned during the weighing processes
• External Weighbridge Remote Displays are fitted to each end of the weighbridge to display truck weights to the drivers
• Automatic ticket printer issues weight docket for all trucks exiting over the weighbridge
Accuweigh’s Automated Weighbridge System provides comprehensive weighbridge management reports and can easily be configured to suit all weighbridge operations including existing weighbridge operations looking to automate their weighing processes.
