Weighbridge hire can be a very cost effective alternative to purchasing and is made easier by Accuweigh’s lightweight portable steel deck weighbridges that require less substantial foundations.
Accuweigh recently commissioned a 12 metre steel deck weighbridge on hire by Global Renewables at the Eastern Creek Waste Management Facility in Western Sydney. The weighbridge hire also includes a traffic light system, ticket printer and a weighbridge software package.
The hired weighbridge is fully galvanised and comprises two low profile weighbridge sections of six metres each for an overall length of twelve metres. Six heavy duty load cells support the weighbridge decks with the centre cells positioned under the joining section to increase structural integrity.
The weighbridge hire also included heavy duty galvanised ramps positioned at both ends to provide easy truck access and all metal work is securely located by Chemsets into the existing level hardstand.
This weighbridge hire is configured for non–trade use as it is being used for reconciling internal payload data only. This portable weighbridge can be hired with full trade approvals if the proposed site meets government regulations. The customer has the option to purchase the portable weighbridge and associated equipment outright after the nominated hire period.
