A water saving wheel wash is now available from Accuweigh branches in all states.
The water saving wheel wash is fitted with optional water saving devices to dramatically reduce wheel wash water usage. As well as reducing the need for fresh water, Accuweigh’s truck wheel wash can also significantly improve wheel washing performance – especially for heavily soiled vehicles. The AccuWash wheel wash is available with the following features:
Wheel Wash Scraper:A motorised conveyor belt with rubber scraper blades is fitted inside the water collection tank and operated during all wheel wash operations. The rubber blades remove dense organic materials such as stones and lumps of clay from the bottom of the tank and deposit it in an external collection bin for easy disposal.
Wheel Wash Water Filter:A Solids Separator filters the re-cycled water as it is drawn from the water tank and removes fine particles which eventually will clog the water spray nozzles. Dirty water also causes pitting of truck paint work and can also damage underbody mechanical components of vehicles. Accuweigh’s Hydrocyclone solids separator doesn’t reduce water pressure and is available with either a manual discharge valve or configured for automatic discharge operation based on timer operation.
Wheel Wash External Water Pump:An additional centrifugal water pump enables the wheel wash to draw water from an external source if town water is not available and/or water is to be drawn directly from another water source, such as a dam or from a water tank. This additional water pump can be operated either manually or automatically as water levels drop in the wheel wash water tank.
