Unmanned Weighbridge Terminals are being used at AJ Bush's Beaudesert rendering plant to alleviate the need for a full time weighbridge operator.
Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane, an Unmanned Weighbridge Terminal is fitted to each end of the weighbridge to better cater for bi-directional weighbridge traffic. To minimise data entry requirements for the truck drivers, a Dallas card reader automatically attains basic truck/driver details by the action of the drivers touching their individual tags onto the reader mounted on each Unmanned Weighbridge Terminal.
The main Unmanned Weighbridge Terminal also co-ordinates traffic movements using a combination of photo-eyes, traffic lights and boom gates to ensure correct weighing procedures are followed. Both Weighbridge Terminals are mounted in stainless steel housings suited for their external mounting and fitted with full colour touch screens which prompt the drivers for the required information, step by step.
Accuweigh’s Weighbridge Terminals are designed for use in very harsh conditions and using a ROC (Rugged Operations Computer) which is completely sealed, doesn’t required external cooling and is designed to operate in dusty and wet conditions. The installed Ticket Aid Pro Weighbridge Software offers unrestricted database support and has split weighing functionality for weighing vehicles longer than the weighbridge.
Accuweigh is Australia’s largest supplier of weighbridges and has weighbridge service teams located in eight branches across mainland Australia providing complete after sales support.
