Platform Scales were custom manufactured for weighing large bales of Hay for Sid & Co in Victoria’s South East.
Supplied by Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch, the heavy duty Platform Scales measure 2 metres long by 1 metre wide.
The Salter Prodeck Platform Scales are almost indestructible thanks to the use of Salter’s patented Weigh Bars which are designed to cope with 100% side loadings. Normal beam load cells have no resistance to side loadings and are easily damaged if product is accidentally dragged across the Platform Scales’ weighing surface while being positioned by a forklift.
Another bonus of the Prodeck Platform Scales is the very low height profile which is significantly less that other Platform Scales and only requires a very shallow pit when mounted in-ground. Made in Australia and certified for Trade Use, the Salter Prodeck Platform Scales are available in standard sizes but can also be custom manufactured to suit client needs.
