Accuweigh’s Adelaide branch is supplying twenty-three sets of PM Payload Monitoring Systems for fitting to new side lift waste collection trucks being assembled at MacDonald Johnston’s plant in Clayton, Victoria.
The tipper trucks fitted with the Payload Monitoring Systems are being supplied to SITA for their recently won waste collections contract with the North Adelaide Waste Management Authority (NAWMA). The Payload Monitoring Systems will optimise SITA’s collections efficiency by ensuring each truck can be fully loaded to legal GVM limits before returning to the refuse tip for emptying.
These Payload Monitoring Systems are manufactured by PM Onboard which is one of Europe’s largest suppliers of onboard truck weighing systems. Accuweigh is the exclusive Australasian distributor of all PM Onboard truck weighing systems and Payload Monitoring Systems.
This PM Payload Monitoring System uses multiple load cells fitted to the truck chassis with a digital weight indicator mounted into the dash of the truck to allow the driver to read the truck weights which is complemented by overload warning alarms, both visual and audible.
