Accuweigh’s Budpak branch recently supplied a pallet wrapper as part of a turnkey liquid filling and packaging line installed for a major vegetable oils processor.
The semi-automatic pallet wrapper will be wrapping pallets loaded with either drums or cartons (bag-in-box) of vegetable oils.
The European manufactured DNC Junior pallet wrapper has an in-built Siemens S7-200 PLC controller handling all the necessary parameters for wrapping any kind of load, independently from their height, stability or structure. The operator panel of the pallet wrapper is very easy to follow with individual functions easily distinguished by differently coloured controls.
The filled pallet is placed on the pallet wrapper’s turntable, the operator starts the wrapping cycle at the control panel to automatically wrap the pallet. The operator then cuts the film and ties it to the turntable in readiness for the next load to be wrapped.
As well as the pallet wrapper, Budpak supplied and commissioning the entire liquid filling and packaging line, including:
