Over Head Track Scales were recently installed into a butchery on the New South Wales Far South Coast. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Lansvale branch in Sydney, the Over Head Track Scale is being used to ensure correct weight deliveries are being received from suppliers.
Certified for Trade Use, the Over Head Track Scale allows the butchery to buy and sell bulk meats by weight and to also confirm correct weight of invoiced products from suppliers. A&D Australasia’s OHT-600 Combo Over Head Track Scale is calibrated to 300kg x 100g and uses a waterproof AD 4407 Stainless Steel IP67 indicator for clear and precise product weight readings.
The installation process of Over Head Track Scales is relatively straightforward and usually completed in a single day if the scales can be fitted into existing meat railings. Using a robust design with up to 300% overload protection, the weighing rail of the OHT-600 track scale are available in lengths between 300mm to 1200mm.
Weighing platforms are also available to clip over the live rail of the Over Head Track Scales to allow items other than those suspended from a meat hook to be weighed.
