Onboard Weighing Systems are now available for trucks and vehicles fitted with air suspension systems from Accuweigh’s branches in all states.
Accuweigh’s Brisbane South branch recently supplied the Onboard Weighing Systems to the JJ Richards recycling plant at Clermont in QLD for fitting to a Scania truck used for picking up materials for recycling from local mine sites.
The truck was fitted with an Onboard Weighing System at the request of the mine operators who preferred collections reports based on weight, not by volume. As the Scania truck has front and rear air bag suspension, Accuweigh’s supplied a suitable Onboard Weighing Systems to allow JJ Richards to comply with the mines’ requests.
Accuweigh’s Airway Onboard Weighing Systems for air suspension vehicles incorporates a unique air sensor principle which measures the load on each airbag which is transmitted to a digital junction box. The combined total truck weight is displayed on a PM 1155 digital weight indicator mounted in the truck cabin and weight tickets are available using the optional ticket printer.
