Manufactured in stainless steel to meet government regulations for use in the food industry, this metal detection equipment is fitted with an automatic reject arm to ensure suspect packs are removed from the conveyor line.
This metal detection equipment also has an audible alarm to alert the operator immediately a contaminanted pack passing over the machine. The rejected packs are ejected from the line into a locked bin to protect against inadvertent handling errors allowing the rejected packs back onto the product lines.
Due to the very stringently enforced food regulations within food processing plants, the likelyhood of metal contaminants entering the food during processing/packing is very remote with many contaminantions occuring in raw products before they enter the processing plant.
