IP69K Washdown Scales were recently sold to a major poultry supplier for use in their chicken processing lines. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Springvale branch in Melbourne, the Washdown Scales were required to eliminate potential scale damage caused by water ingress.
IP69K Washdown Scales are fully sealed for use in wet environments and eliminate the need for the scales to be removed from the processing line during room washdown. The SC series Washdown Scales are designed to cope with direct hosing using high pressure water at up to 85°C.

For extended keyboard life, capacitive keys are used to eliminate the need for the keys be physically touched; just the proximity of a finger (even in a glove) is all that is required to activate the relevant key operation. An optional internal rechargeable battery allows full portability with up to 90 hours use before needing charging.
