Accuweigh’s Grain Weighbridge Software is being used at the EP Storage (Free Eyre) grain storage facility at Rudall, South Australia. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Adelaide branch, the Grain Weighbridge Software is used to accurately track all shipments entering and leaving the storage facility.
The Grain Weighbridge Software is operated on a PC in the weighbridge office 70 metres away from the weighbridge. To comply with trade requirements, CCTV cameras are fitted to both ends of the weighbridge to enable the operator to verify all trucks are correctly positioned before weight readings are attained.
Due to its remote location away from available mains power, the weighbridge office is powered from a local generator with a separate Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) providing clean power to the PC running the Grain Weighbridge Software. The weighbridge, CCTV cameras and Two Way Intercom are powered directly from solar panels mounted on poles at each end of the weighbridge deck.
AASoftware’s Ticket Aid Pro+ Grain Weighbridge Software generates the required weight tickets and reporting functionality but is also fully customisable to ensure future modifications can be easily implemented.
