A form fill seal machine was recently commissioned for Noonan’s Bakery located in the Perth suburb of Canning Vale.
Accuweigh/Budpak’s form fill seal machine (FFS) machine is being used for packaging soup mixes and croutons and is proving to be considerably faster then the previous packaging equipment installed at this factory.
Accuweigh’s Perth branch supplied and installed an AccuPak form fill seal machine, model number AW-VX600, and included a universal former plus a range of optional parts to suit the client’s specific packaging needs. The AW-VX form fill seal machines are designed for high throughput of up to 100 bags per minute and are suitable to use in automatic packaging of solid products such as powders, puffy foods, shrimp roll, peanuts, popcorn, cornmeal, seeds, sugars, salt and more.
The client invested in Accuweigh’s form fill seal machine to increase their product output which was previously being hampered by ongoing problems with product rejects and inaccurate weighings of their packaging equipment that caused excessive product re-packing. This new form fill seal machine is almost three times quicker than their previous packaging equipment.
Soon after commissioning the AccuPak FFS machine, Noonan’s Bakery cleared their backlog of production and is now able to match product output to the even increasing demand of their quality products.
To ensure they could take full advantage of the speed of the new form fill seal machine, the client also purchased an AccuPak Multi-Head Weigher, AW-M14A, a bucket elevator, working platform, take-away conveyor and rotary collecting table which were all installed at the same time with minimal downtime to production.
