Bench Scales were recently installed for a West Australian freight company for weighing freight to calculate freight charges. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Perth branch, the Bench Scale was fitted with metal rollers and positioned into the client’s existing roller conveyor line to allow heavy items to be weighed with minimal operator effort.
Accuweigh’s AW bench scales are suitable for all general purpose weighing applications and are able to be certified for Trade Use. Available in a range of weighing capacities from 60kg up to 300kg, these bench scales are also designed to cope with rough handling.
The internal rechargeable battery and lightweight cast aluminium frame ensures the AW Bench Scales are also ideal for portable weighing applications. A heavy duty single point load cell with in-built overload protection supports the large 420 x 510 mm weigh plate which is manufactured in thick gauge stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning.
A RS232 serial output is a standard fitting for communicating with printers and the digital display of the Bench Scales can be removed for wall mounting in applications requiring the display to be separated from the scale base.
