Accuweigh’s Perth branch recently supplied an Avery weighbridge load cell to the Argyle Diamond mine at Pilbara in Western Australia.
The Avery weighbridge load cell replaced an existing load cell that had failed due to a recent lightning strike in close proximity to the weighbridge.
The weighbridge is fitted with six Avery weighbridge load cells and used to weight the diamond bearing ore that is removed from both underground and open cut mines. The ore is weighed on the weighbridge before being transported from site for processing.
Avery T302 weighbridge load cells are available in various capacities and have been fitted to hundreds of weighbridges throughout Australia since the late 1990’s. Manufactured in stainless steel with sealed top and bottom cups, the Avery weighbridge load cells are ideal for wet and dusty environments and are still available for retro-fitting into existing weighbridge applications.
