Accuweigh is particularly pleased to have access to AST's range of Australian Made, heavy duty X-Ray inspection equipment that is capable of high speed inspections of heavy and dense products such as 27kg cartons of frozen meat which most X-Ray food inspection machines can't handle.
Many of Accuweigh’s existing staff are already fully experienced with sales and service of X-Ray inspection equipment, but all relevant persons will be updated with the features of AST’s high profile range of X-Ray food inspection systems.
Applied Sorting Technologies is particularly innovative in x-ray work and were commissioned to develop and supply the first x-ray meat inspection machines are used by most of Australia’s major beef exporters.
Applies Sorting's Business Development Manager, John Vincent said although AST is strong on technology it needed a better marketing presence to let the public know what products it had. Accuweigh have a strong and progressive technical capability as well as being a respected organisation that is presently selling products that are complimentary to Applied Sorting Technologies and to the same custmers.
Several major Australian food processors that already are using AST’s X-Ray inspection equipment will now have access to Accuweigh's network of sales and service branches spread across Australia. By working with Accuweigh, Applied Sorting Technologies is confident of expanding the customer base using their X-Ray inspection equipment.
