Two sets of Waterproof Scales were recently installed at the Colmslie branch of A. Raptis & Sons in Queensland. Supplied by Accuweigh’s QWM branch in Brisbane, the Waterproof Scales are being used for prepacking different seafoods in a food processing area.

Normally powered by a supplied AC/DC power adaptor, full portable operation of the SK Waterproof Scales can also achieved by fitting 6 x D cell batteries for up to 1200 hours of cordless operation. An auto power off function eliminates battery drain when the scales are not being used and is complemented by a low battery indicator to warn the operator when the scales need recharging.
The SK Waterproof scales features a solid and robust design suited for the occasional knocks and bumps a small portable scales regularly receives.
