TRUCK SCALES
Truck scales are primarily used for weighing trucks and other vehicles. Also known as weighbridges, truck scales are available in various designs; from one single weighing deck up to multiple deck configurations.
Truck Scales are most commonly manufactured using either a concrete weighing deck or a metal weighing deck, concrete deck truck scales being the most cost effective and therefore, the more commonly used type of truck scales.
All modern trucks scales are fitted with load cells under the weighing deck and use a digital weight indicator to generate and display the weight of trucks on the scale.

Accuweigh can supply and install portable truck scales with full trade approvals anywhere in Australia. These portable truck scales are fully galvanised and utilise five metre sections which are bolted together to achieve the required weighbridge length.
For optimum strength and rigidity of the portable truck scales, the cross members connecting the weighbridge decks also contain the load cells making them a load bearing point which overcomes flexing of the deck of the portable truck scale under load.
Access to the portable truck scale’s load cells is through a metal access cover and optional heavy duty metal ramps are also available for attaching to the ends of the truck scale when used in an above ground application.
Installations costs of this type of portable tuck scale are very cost effective due to the relatively low mass of the truck scale requiring minimal foundations. Each truck scale section is easily maneuvered into position and the entire assembly can be completed by a single person.
