SKIP WEIGHING SYSTEMS

Skip Weighing Systems are primarily used to eliminate accidental vehicle overloading in the scrap metal and building/construction industries where heavy and dense products are usually carried. Accuweigh’s skip weighing system is extremely robust utilising six heavy capacity load cells mounted between the truck chassis and the loading tray to ensure precise skip bin weighings.

Many cheaper skip weighing systems only display net and/or gross weights of the skip bins themselves but this doesn’t eliminate potential overloading fines caused by overloaded vehicle axle(s). Accuweigh’s PM Onboard Skip Weighing System has the ability to display individual axle group weights as well as net/gross bin weights.
