Manufactured by A&D Australasia, the AP Mk3 Postal Scales are the currently preferred Postal Scale for use by all Australia Post outlets. Able to be certified for Trade Use, the AP Postal Scales are fitted with three data outlets to allow the acquired weight reading to be transmitted to an EPOS station for calculating postal charges.
The AP Postal Scale displays the item weight to both the vendor and the customer using large easy to read LCD’s. The small footprint and low profile of A&D’s Postal Scales saves on bench space requirements and the scales can be operated from mains power using the supplied plugpack or from replaceable batteries.
To better cater for the wide range of items handled by Australia Post, the AP Postal Scales utilise dual range weighing operation which allows the scale to weigh lighter items up to 2,000g using 1g divisions, then the scale switches to a higher capacity weighing range for weighing items up to 30kg using 0.01kg divisions.
