AVERY A500 Platform Scales:

This is an industry standard platform scale using heavy duty checker plate fitted to a very rigid metal frame designed to withstand the rigours of normal industrial uses such as loading by hand or forklift loading applications. Heavy duty loadcells with swivel feet are fitted to the underside of the platform scale frame and make contact with the floor to ensure a stable weighing surface. The A500 platform scale can also be fitted with ramps to allow wheeled access. There are several important features of the A500 platdorm scale that also mades it ideal for mounting into a shallow pit to have the weighing surface flush with the surrounding floor level.

EASY CLEAN Platform Scales For Food Areas:

Typically, In-ground platform scales in food processing areas are a collection point for food scraps that are hosed into the scale pit during normal cleaning procedures. The pit drain eventually blocks and the combination of decaying food scraps and brackish water starts damaging the scales, but more importantly, the scale pit quickly transforms into a potential health hazard.

Accuweigh’s Easy Clean platform scale provides the solution by allowing cleaning staff easy access to the scale pit and the drain without the assistance of a maintenance crew and lifting devices. The Easy Clean platform scale has a rigid sub-frame which connects to the weighing plate via hinges to allow the weighing plate to be easily raised to allow full access to the pit and the pit drain. In-built gas struts assist with lifting the plate and then also hold it in position while cleaning staff complete their critically important duties.

PRODECK Platform Scales:
