Multihead Weighers and linear weighers are specifically designed machines capable of accurately weighing specified volumes of product at very high speeds. The product is usually discharged into a Vertical Form Fill Seal machine fitted under the weighers for packaging.
Linear weighers have the weighing heads aligned in either one or two straight rows, while a multi-head weigher has its weighing heads positioned in a circular configuration, usually comprising either ten or fourteen weighing heads.
