BulkWeigh is a high accuracy onboard weighing system designed specifically for bulk tippers, rigid trucks, semi-trailer and drawbar vehicles. BulkWeigh is the ideal onboard weighing system for use in rugged environments as it uses heavy duty chassis mounted load cells that are water-proofed to marine quality standards. On tipper vehicles, load cells are usually mounted under the rear hinges and the hydraulic ram(s) to enable high accuracy onboard weight readings to be attained.
BulkWeigh is the first choice of onboard weighing system for bulk transport applications such as when transporting aggregates, feed delivery, bulk powder and many extreme off-road operations.

PM1155 INDICATOR
Specially engineered for onboard tipper use, the PM1155 is a versatile digital weight indicator designed to suit a variety of onboard vehicle weighing systems, including tippers from 17 tonne to 50 tonne GVW.
TipWatch
As standard, the PM1155 indicator combines precision weighing with "TipWatch" - a tipper stability program that alerts the driver to a potentially-unsafe tipping condition, such as when the truck is on uneven ground or there are uneven loads in the body. When uneven load distribution occurs, an alarm sounds and a warning flashes on the screen. The alarm is activated when the load is more than 40% off centre.
A highly-accurate junction box inclinometer measures the level of the ground or body on which the vehicle stands. A continuous display tells the driver in degrees the angle of the chassis or body. Side-to-side slopes greater than 3 degrees, trigger an alarm sounder.
AxleWatch
Axle weights are displayed, alerting the driver to potential axle overload infringement.
Body-up
An audible alarm and on-screen message alerts the driver if the body is still raised when the truck is being driven. This feature significantly improves vehicle operating safety in busy work sites.
Mounting versatility
The PM1155 onboard weighing indicator is suitable for DIN radio mount, dash mount or trailer mount.
Trailer Identification
Where tractor and trailer combinations are regularly swapped, the PM1155 automatically recognises the different onboard weighing system on the trailer and uploads the calibration settings automatically. This eliminates the need to re-calibrate the the digital weight indicator every time the trailer is swapped and allows any number of trucks and trailers to share components and still weight accurately.
Retro-compatibility
Analogue and digital CANbus combine for complete compatibility between old and new systems enabling easy-to-read on-screen error messages should a problem occur.
