Low Cost Electronic Balances are being used at the end of the bottling line at ACI’s Spotswood plant in Victoria. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Springvale branch in Melbourne, the Electronic Balances enable manual check-weighing of glass jars and bottles for QA purposes.
With a capacity of 3,000 grams, the HT-3000N Electronic Balance is configured with 0.1gram divisions to ensure very accurate weight reading can be achieved. The weighing pan measures 145 x 125 mm in size which is ideal for ACI’s weighing application.
The weight is displayed on a large 40mm high LCD which is backlit to allow for easy reading under all lighting conditions. The HT Low Cost Electronic Balance has an in-built counting function and is also fitted with an RS-232 serial output to allow for external communication with other devices.
Accuweigh’s HT series of Low Cost Electronic Balances are fitted with an internal re-chargeable battery which can be charged using the supplied battery charger to also allow for portable operation. A draught shield is also supplied to eliminate wind and air movements from affecting the scale’s weight readings.
